App Stuck on “Processing” After Updating? Try These Two Quick Fixes

However, we have noticed that after updating, some users are experiencing a minor glitch: when trying to connect, the application gets stuck on “Processing” and never establishes the connection.
If you are facing this issue, don’t worry! This is not a problem with your account or our servers. Most of the time, it is simply a conflict between the old temporary files stored on your device and the new update code.
Here are the two most effective solutions to fix this in less than two minutes:
1. Clear All App Cache and Data
When an app updates, sometimes data remnants from the previous version remain in your phone’s memory, causing a conflict with the new update. Clearing this memory usually solves the issue immediately.
Step-by-Step Guide:
- On Android:
- Go to your phone’s Settings.
- Open Apps (or Manage Apps).
- Find and select VPN.lat.
- Tap on Storage (or Storage & Cache).
- Tap Clear Cache, and then tap Clear Data (or Clear Storage).
- Reopen the app and try connecting again.
2. Uninstall and Reinstall the App
If clearing the data doesn’t work, or if you are using an iOS (iPhone) device, the cleanest and most effective solution is to reinstall the application from scratch. This completely removes any traces of the old installation package and ensures your operating system loads the new version flawlessly.

- Press and hold the VPN.lat icon on your phone’s home screen.
- Select Uninstall or Delete App.
- Restart your device (optional, but highly recommended to refresh your system’s RAM).
- Open the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
- Search for VPN.lat and download it again.
- Open the fresh app, pick your preferred server, and hit connect.
