At VPN.lat, our priority is to provide you with a fast and secure browsing experience. However, we have noticed that some users are experiencing an unusual issue: whenever they tap “Connect,” the app immediately sends them back to the country list, preventing the VPN tunnel from establishing a connection.
How to Identify This Error
If you are unsure if you are experiencing this specific issue, you can watch the short video below demonstrating the exact behavior of this technical glitch:
The Solution: A Clean Reinstallation
Since VPN.lat is designed for simplicity and does not require a user account, this problem can be easily fixed by completely refreshing the app’s configuration files on your device. Follow these steps:
- Delete the App: Completely uninstall VPN.lat from your phone or tablet.
- Reinstall:
- Android: Download it again from the Google Play Store.
- iOS: Find it again on the App Store.
- Connect: Open the newly installed app, select your preferred server, and hit “Connect.” It should now work perfectly!
Why is reinstallation necessary?
Because our app does not use accounts or registrations, all server and protocol configurations are stored locally on your device. Occasionally, after a network update or an OS change, these files can become outdated or corrupted. By reinstalling, you force the app to download the most recent and stable configuration available directly from the official stores.
